that's what we do here at St. Clouds, whether it's friends, a busy working family, an extended family meeting for a family reunion, a date, a wedding couple, a birthday celebration. Our upscale casual atmosphere, with warm colors and a welcoming spirit, encourage people to come together to break bread. For us, there is a strong sense of community created around that bread breaking, providing guests from throughout the Seattle metropolitan area a stronger sense of place and connection. Our monthly Homeless Cooking Project extends this core belief even further, aspiring to give a sense of community to those who prepare the food and to those who sit down together to eat the food.

Madrona restaurant St. Clouds is a down-to-earth business that recognizes the importance of being part of a community. That's why it's a favorite hangout for Grist Local reader Joel P. Sisolak. "St. Clouds serves up both regional cuisine and comfort foods, and hosts some great local music acts," he says. "But I mostly like them for how they give back to the community."
